With each event, their guests are given the opportunity to lead their own investigations and participate in some of the most incredible experiments, while providing a laid back, organized approach to public ghost hunting. 

When Apex isn't hosting events, they're filming episodes for Apex Chronicles - documenting their research, investigations, experiences, and evidence captured at the most haunted locations in the country to verify if the claims are true, or if there's more to the location's story that has yet to be discovered.

Meet Our Team

​Elijah Buchholz, Founder | Public Relations | Investigator
Growing up in an old Iowa farmhouse, Elijah learned quickly of what it's like to live in an actual haunted home. Witnessing several unexplained occurrences is what has driven him to seek answers to the unknown, and the desire to help those to do the same. ​

​Shannon Johnson, Research Specialist | Digital Marketing | Investigator
​Since the age of six, Shannon has experienced both good and dark hauntings. Through her love of research in history and the paranormal, she hopes discover alternative ways to interact with the non-living and to help share the stories they cannot tell themselves.

Jenni Panethiere, Network/Promoting Specialist | Investigator
​Since an early age, Jenni has been an avid lover of ghost stories, scary movies and Halloween. As a teen, she starred in a local B movie and then moved on to working part time at a local haunted house. Everything was always fun and games, until she experienced first-hand; a negative spirit and it's unwelcomed haunting. From that point forward, it has grown her desire to learn, research, explore and experience what cannot be logically explained.

Morgan Cartwright, Marketing/Event Coordinator | Research Assistant | Investigator
​Growing up, Morgan was always interested in finding answers to every "Why?", especially when it came to hauntings; checking out every book at the library that she could find about the paranormal. Now an adult, Morgan is searching new ways to interact with non-living, utilizing both her science background and curiosity to drive out answers others seek desperately to find.

The paranormal has always been a part of Liam's life; from early childhood to now, he can recall every experience as though it happened yesterday. When the opportunity of diving deeper into the paranormal came available, Liam found this to be his chance to understand why places are haunted, and how the hauntings can affect others. With this passion, he wants to pursue in helping others understand as well.
